The client
The Fitness Network is a London-based platform where fitness meets serious business thinking. Through podcasts and in-depth interviews with leading brands, entrepreneurs, and marketers, they deliver the kind of forward-thinking strategies that actually shape the health and fitness industry. They had the content, the credibility, and a growing audience but their website wasn't keeping pace with any of it. This project was completed during my time as lead web designer and developer at Mary Agency.

The challenge
When The Fitness Network came to me, the problem was clear — the website was getting in the way of the content rather than showcasing it.
The existing site had no coherent UX/UI design thinking behind it. Navigation was cluttered, content was hard to find, and there was no logical flow guiding visitors from landing to listening. For a platform with real authority in the fitness industry, the website was quietly undermining the credibility they'd worked hard to build.
On top of that, slow load times and recurring technical issues meant visitors weren't hanging around long enough to engage. Detailed wireframes and a full content audit helped us map exactly what needed to change and in what order.
Pain points
A cluttered, disorganised layout that made it hard to find and stick with content
A dated design that no longer reflected the authority The Fitness Network had built
Slow load times and recurring technical issues that quietly eroded visitor trust

The results
The solution started with a clean, considered web design built around how people actually consume podcast and interview content. Navigation was restructured from the ground up, with new CMS categories and a clearer content flow that makes it immediately obvious where to go and what to explore next.
The web development was handled entirely in Framer chosen for its performance capabilities and flexibility. The result is a site that loads fast, looks sharp on any device, and gives The Fitness Network's team full control over their own content through a straightforward CMS they can manage without needing a developer every time.
From cluttered and slow to clean and confident the new site finally does justice to everything The Fitness Network has built.
